Mixed Tax Manager

Are you an experienced Tax professional? Our Client’s Tax team are recruiting now for a Mixed Tax Manager to manage a portfolio of mix Tax clients, providing them with a proactive, efficient, and cost-effective taxation service.

We all want to make the most of our money and firm’s Tax team excels in doing so. Our dedicated team of professionals offer our clients a full personal tax planning and financial planning service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with colleagues in other Firm’s offices and teams
• Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients
• Provide clients with a proactive, efficient, and cost-effective taxation service that meets their needs and those of the regulatory authorities
• Provide training to less experienced members of the team
• Report to and keep Line Manager and Partners up to date with progress on jobs undertaken
• Review processes to improve efficiency, including working with the tax technical group regarding systems for delivery
• Complete and review tax returns, including those that are complex and contentious

Person Specification:

• Able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Tax advisory experience is desirable, but not essential
• At least 5 years’ experience of Personal Tax work
• Commercially minded
• Excellent time management skills in order to meet a variety of strict deadlines
• Experience of line managing/supervising a team
• Qualified by experience or ACA or CTA qualified
