As a Corporate Tax Senior/ Manager you will be working within the Tax team in a mixed advisory & compliance focused position. As a Corporate Senior/ Manager your role will include managing a portfolio of corporate clients ranging from small owner managed businesses to large UK groups and the UK subsidiaries of large overseas groups and delivering corporate tax planning and advisory services.
The Corporate Tax clients you will be dealing with are largely OMB client base with advisory projects such as structuring or restructuring of corporate group’s, exit strategies, shareholder reliefs, employee incentives and pro-actively working with clients to ensure tax efficiencies where possible.
Managing a portfolio of business tax clients to ensure compliance requirements met, building relationship with the client, and identifying areas where firm can assist the client.
Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will be expected to act largely autonomously, subject to support and oversight, as required, by the office’s tax partners and directors.
Relationship management will be a key aspect of the role and the candidate will be expected to contribute to effective team working as part of the management team, responsible for coordinating directly with clients, collaborating effectively with colleagues as well coaching, managing, mentoring, and appraising junior team members.
The tax profession is subject to constant change and evolution and finding new and better ways to work, adapting to accommodate and embrace technological development is essential. Responsibilities:
Plan and supervise the production of structural designs and drawings as required.
Prepare fee quotations for projects.
Ensure that a comprehensive design check is carried out at key stages
in accordance with the Integrated Management System.
Ensure that all documentation is issued in accordance with the Client’s
programme.
Discuss and agree with the Associate and/or Directors the resources
required which meet the required programme and profitability.
Regularly monitor the programme and advise the Director of any change
in the resource requirements or target profitability.
Maintain close contact with staff in your group to ensure you are aware
of their technical abilities, capacity and performance and are able to report
and make recommendations on the same to the Associate and/or Directors.
Maintaining a thorough knowledge of relevant British Standards and Building
Regulations and other relevant technical standards.
Good understanding and becoming operational competent in the use of
computers and authorised software.
Ideal Candidate:
IEng or CEng Membership of the Institution of Structural Engineers
Knowledge of Eurocodes, Codes of Practice, Design Standards, Building Regulations
and Health and Safety Legislation.
A good working knowledge of AutoCAD and other drawings packages and computer
design software for structural analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
To demonstrate ability to coordinate workflow.

An experienced Forensic Accountant is needed to join a specialist accounting, financial and valuation services Firm working on a range of financial and valuation related disputes across a range of different industries. These can include competition and anti trust claims, shareholder disputes, the quantification of damages and losses or other related issues requiring a forensic accounting input.
You will add value by drawing on previous experience in audit and forensic accounting assignments to work on financial disputes and investigations. You will be responsible for managing projects, drafting sections of reports and beginning to develop client and referrer relationships.

• Project managing cases
• Compiling, analysing, and documenting facts for matters under investigation or in litigation
• Assist in developing and/or evaluating damages, claims and calculations
• Prepare financial models, cash flow analysis, and other analyses to support business valuations and damage assessments
